This Nordeen Family website was created in memory of Dan Nordeen.  This is one of our favorite pictures of our Dad, Husband, and Grandpa.  Gardening was one of his favorite pastimes!

Great Grandma Nordeen ( Grandpa Dan's MOM ) was a JOHNSTON !!!!  So even tho' you are a Nordeen - you are a Johnston too!!!

This 9-Patch Quilt was constructed in memory of Dan Nordeen and Blanche Anderson by Marcia Wachuta and Joanne Nordeen. Blanche Anderson is Julie Nordeen's Mom. It is a multi-colored 9-patch quilt, which Marcia quilted with a freestyle design. The design consisted of meandering with flowers, swirls, and hearts; as well as crosshatch loops in the border. This quilting tends to be the depth and type most people select. It would be excellent for a double or queen-size bed and would fit on the top of a King-size bed. It is a great year-round quilt! 

The Relay for Life Quilt was on display at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Proceeds from the Raffle went to the American Cancer Society/Relay for Life! It is our hope that research will help find a cure for Cancer so others will not need to suffer.  Watch for this year's quilt.  We will post pictures of the quilt in the spring!
